Psalm 20:6-7 Now this I know: the Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Experience is sometimes the best teacher. You don’t truly know something until you experience it for yourself. You can hear about something but it’s whole other thing when you go through it yourself.
I’ve heard that God works miracles and answers prayers but now I know he does! I’ve experienced his move over and over in my life. I know too much about him for anyone and anything to make me doubt him!
David knew God through experience. He had been outnumbered. He had been under resourced. He had faced a giant. He had lived in a cave. David writes in Psalm 20, “Now I know…”
- That the Lord gives victory to his anointed. It may look like you are outnumbered or under resourced but God blesses those that he anoints. We have the victory!
- God answers him from heaven with a victorious right hand. It is so reassuring when you know that the blessing you receive originated from heaven. There is no other logical explanation for how you got what you got other then God sent this one straight from heaven. Now I know!
- Some people depend upon horses and chariots but I depend on God. In other words as King, David didn’t depend on his military budget or prowess but God’s hand! Promotion doesn’t come from the east or the west but from God! Now I know that my victories cannot be revoked if they come from God. Now I know that the battle is not mine but the Lord’s. Now I know that all I have to do is stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord!
Now I know that you heard me crying out all those nights. Now I know that you truly love me. I thank you in advance for the blessings yet on their way. I’ve already received confirmation and revelation. Thank you God for elevation. You are an amazing God!
In Jesus Name,
