Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion. But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.

We are nearing the close of our 21 days of prayer and fasting. We have been sending up prayers and God has been sending his angels ahead of your prayers to prepare the place that he is taking you to.

When Daniel prayed his angel was delayed 21 days but fought his way to Daniel. A delay is not a denial. You’ve got help up ahead of you!

The Israelites were released from slavery and they had not been established as a nation but God’s promise to them in the desert was that he would send an angel ahead of them to prepare the way. Here’s what they had to do:

  1. Pay close attention to him. When you fast and pray it opens your discernment to see things you ordinarily would pay attention to. God is showing you where your help is but you have to pay attention!
  2. Obey his instructions. God was talking about his heavenly angel and his earth angel Moses. God gives you anointed leaders and pastors. Often times pastors are referred to as “angels of the house of God.” The word angel means messenger. God has sent you angels or messengers in the form of pastors to obey. He gives them the words of life for your good so you can head in the right direction.
  3. Do not rebel against the angel. When you rebel against God’s messenger you are rebelling against God because God said, “he has my word in him!”
  4. If you obey God will be an enemy to your enemies! When you obey God he will fight your battles and give you sweat less victories!!

Dear God,

Thank you for sending an angel in front of me for 2016! I believe this year is going to be an awesome year and I am ready to receive everything I’ve been praying about. Increase in my spiritual strength! Increase in the discipleship of our members. Increase in our finances. Debt reduction. Decrease in violence and crime. Doors of employment opportunities opening up! Healing and good health. Father, thank you for taking us into a wealthy place and helping us to live life as you intended!

In Jesus Name,
