Titus 3:5

He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
It is because of his mercy that we are not consumed. I woke up to new mercy. It is not because we’ve been so faithful but because God is so loving that he decided to do right by us. There is so much that could have disqualified us but God wouldn’t let it be. He has extended our time in hopes that we might live out our potential. Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed God’s hand has provided.

1. He washed away our sins. Just because something is dirty doesn’t mean you throw it away. As a matter of fact the more valuable a thing is the more likely it is going to get dirty because of its frequent use. Jesus decided a long time ago that God wanted to use us but when he found us we were dirty. God took his son’s blood to cleanse us. We can never take lightly the cost of that blood. The blood still has miraculous power. Every morning it cleanses me so that I can be used of God.

2. He gave us new birth. God repurposed our lives. When it looked like our lives had no meaning, God came in and reconnected us to our original purpose to carry out his divine plan. We cannot see God’s purpose for our lives unless we are born again. It’s time to let God hit the reset button on our lives.

3. He gives us new life. When you play video games it’s inevitable that you are going to run out of lives. In most games there is a way for you to get another life. You can pay for it. Thank God Jesus paid it all. You can wait on new lives. Those that wait upon The Lord will renew their strength. You can be granted a new life by going to another level. Today God is inviting us to live on another level. The way we lived yesterday will not work today. God has given us new mercy to live a new life.

Dear God, Thank you for New Mercy. It’s time for me to head in a new direction. Old things have passed and behold you make all things new. I thank you for that. Without you in my life I would have been consumed by my choices but your mercy saved me. Use me today to give you Glory.

In Jesus Name,
