Matthew 10:21 “When people realize it is the living God you are presenting and not some idol that makes them feel good, they are going to turn on you, even people in your own family. There is a great irony here: proclaiming so much love, experiencing so much hate! But don’t quit. Don’t cave in. It is all well worth it in the end. It is not success you are after in such times but survival. Be survivors! Before you’ve run out of options, the Son of Man will have arrived.

There are times in all our lives when we feel like giving up in the midst of what we are going through. We are simply trying to fulfill our purpose or complete our assignment but run into resistance. The enemy, satan gets angry when he sees you carrying out God’s agenda and he try everything to frustrate your work.

Your life is like a movie. There is an introduction, there are light hearted moments, there is comedy but somewhere in the middle there is a dilemma. I’ve never seen anybody leave a good movie in the middle of it just because of a dilemma. Instead we wait it out because we know that good movies have perfect endings.

Your life has purpose and All things work together for your good when you work for the Lord. Jesus told his disciples that they would have a dilemma:

1.  When people recognize that you are truly representing the living God and not some feel good religion they will turn on you…even your family. Your authenticity will cause people who were comfortable with an imitation of life to turn on you because you decided to turn your life around. Don’t stop. It works out in the end. The same people that turned on you will turn back to God if you stick with it.

2.  Your life will have irony. After proclaiming so much love you will experience a lot of hate. Don’t stop. Don’t cave in. Instead go deeper into God so he can give you the ability to love your way through it. It works out in the end. Love conquers all.

3.  It’s not success you are looking for but survival. You just have to get through this. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t walk then crawl. Whatever you have to do to finish do that! At the end of this race there is a prize waiting for us if we faint not. The race is not given to the swift nor to the strong but to those who endure to the end.

4.  Before you’ve run out of options Jesus will have arrived! It may look like you have run out of options but Jesus is our savior who shows up at the end of a thing to give it a perfect ending. It ain’t over until Jesus shows up! What you are going through right now has a perfect ending you just have to see it through!

Dear God,

Thank you for the victory. I can see the end of this thing the good news is that you already showed me the end of the thing before it began. The vision you gave me has been carrying me all through my journey and even through my dilemmas. I am confident that you who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete. You are my last and final option! It shall come to past!

In Jesus Name,
