image001Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Would you believe me if I told you that everything God has spoken over your life is about to manifest?┬áIt’s time for you to go back expecting to get what God has already poured out.

Faith is not waiting for it to rain before you get an umbrella. Faith is walking out on a sunny day with your umbrella in your hand because you need rain and you believe that God is going to send it!

God is speaking to me this morning that you will not come back empty when you get to the place where he pours his word out in you! You have to get back to church this Sunday because God is about to pour out his word.

God told Isaiah the prophet that just like rain and snow can’t be released without watering the earth and making the seed flourish to give seed to the sower and bread to the water so his word cannot return empty!

God’s word does something when it is poured out.

  1. It waters the earth. For those of us who are dry and thirsty God’s word refreshes us in our dry places. We’ve been trying to satisfy our thirst with the wrong things. Jesus said, “I am the water of life. If you drink of me you will never thirst again!” When you drink from Jesus well, you will cease being thirsty!
  1. God’s word gives seed to the sower. God puts seeds in our hands for us to sow into a harvest. The word of God serves as a catalyst for what we need. There is something that God wants to speak over you through the preached word; this word will empower you to meet a need through the seed he plants in you.
  1. God’s word gives bread to the eater. In actuality it is the work we do by planting our seed that turns that seed into bread. God will supply all of our needs according to his riches in Glory. There have been times when I didn’t have anything but I went to church and God spoke a word that manifested into bread! When Jesus fed five thousand people he did so by speaking a word over a little boys fish sandwich and he miraculously multiplies it. Just because you don’t have anything doesn’t mean you should skip church. Don’t miss the miracle of Jesus multiplying your bread just by speaking over your limited resources!
  1. God’s word will not return empty. There is a word from God assigned to you. Something that will be spoken this Sunday will penetrate the surface of your heart and do what God sent it to do. You just have to be in position to receive it this Sunday! When you do, you will not return empty!

Dear God,

Do everything you need to do in my life. I’m ready for your word to be spoken over me this weekend. I need water. I need seed. I need bread. Most of all I need filling. Fill me up till I overflow! I want to flow over!

In Jesus Name!
