2 Samuel 22:30, 34 With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.

There’s an old gospel song that says, “Lord you don’t have to move my mountain but give me the strength to climb!” We all have mountains that we are trying to make it over. What we have to realize is that God gives the ability to move mountains or scale mountains.

If our organizations, businesses, churches are going to conquer our mountains, God has to give us the strength.

  1. With God’s help we can face a troop. Numbers don’t intimidate God. Greater are those that are with us than those that are with them.
  2. God gives us the ability to scale a wall. Not only will God give us the ability to climb a wall but he can also help us reach scale. We need to set our sights higher. Gazelles can jump 10 feet high but be held captive by a 3 foot wall. Gazelles have to see where they are jumping before they jump. In order to scale walks we need to have vision to see beyond our present limitations.
  3. God will give you deer feet to scale heights. God will give us the ability to climb through rugged terrain to reach our scale. There’s another level for you!

Dear God,

I’m climbing up the rough side of the mountain. Thank you for giving me the strength to climb. Thank you for increasing my scale (my reach) and helping me to scale (my climb) higher mountains on my way home.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
