ID-100333996Mark 11:23-25 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”

Sometimes in our lives we all experience challenges that look insurmountable. It can be down right discouraging. Richard Smallwood has a song that says, “For every mountain you brought me over…” We all have had mountains to climb but did you know that God has given you the ability to move mountains?’ There are some we have to climb and some that we can move. College is a mountain we have to climb. Racism in the work place is a mountain that has to move!

The way we move our mountains is with prayer. Jesus told his disciples if they had faith the size of a mustard seed they could speak to the mountain and it would be removed.

  1. Speak in faith for your obstacles to be removed. Go to God and tell him what your up against and ask God to move it.
  2. You must believe it will happen and God will answer any prayer. We cannot waiver in our belief.
  3. You must let go of any grudges because they block prayers. Search your heart and if you discover anything your holding onto let it go!

Dear God,

Thank you for moving all obstacles out of my way. I can see clearly now that my mountains have moved. Ain’t no mountain high enough and ain’t no valley low enough to keep me from what you have ordained for my life. For every mountain you brought me through I give you praise!

In Jesus Name,
