Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

There is something that God started doing in you and for you that is not finished. If you are not careful you will allow anxiety to set in to make you believe that it’s not going to happen for you. You have to remind yourself of what God spoke to you and hold on to your vision. God told Habakkuk to write the vision make it plan, and though it tarry wait on it. He’s going to finish it.

God is not a man that he would lie nor the son of Man that he would change his mind. What seems slow to us is right on time for God. There are things that God is working on that must be established before he finishes. We just have to …

1. Be Confident of this—Do you trust God enough to believe that if he started it he’s going to finish it? God always finishes what he starts. We just have to make sure that we remain in his will.

2. Know that the work God does in you is more important than the work you do. We can never finish our work until God finishes his work. Many times we are like patients on the operating table that have been opened by God for surgery and we want to jump up off the table before the surgery is complete to go back to our work. You can’t move until he’s finished. Let God finish his work in you so that you can finish the work around you.

3. Believe that God will carry the work on until completion. God is going to stick around until the work is done. Some people will leave you if they see that the work is going to take too long. Not God. He will be there until the project is complete. He’s not leaving. His name is on this. His reputation is at stake. He’s not leaving until it’s completed to his satisfaction. When people see the finished product, they are going to be amazed at what God has done in you and through you.

I’m excited for you! Eyes haven’t seen, ears haven’t heard, neither has it entered the hearts of men what God is getting ready to do through you. Don’t you give up on your dreams or your vision. God is about to finish what he started!

Dear God,

Thank you for not allowing me to get discouraged over a delay. A delay is not a denial. You are about to do something marvelous in our eyes. Promotion doesn’t come from the east or the west but promotion comes from you. Thank you for finishing what you started!

In Jesus Name,
