Stone TrustIsaiah 26:3 NLT “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”

When it seems that the whole world is crumbling around you God has the ability to keep you in perfect peace. However it’s easy to get distracted and allow stress to creep up on you. Your spirit is like a vacuum whatever you allow in that space it will consume you. As a man thinks so is he. We have to make a conscious effort to guard our thinking.

The Prophet Isaiah said that God will keep you in perfect peace if your mind is stayed on him (Jesus).

1. God will keep you in perfect peace. There was a picture of a terrible storm with trees bending in the wind and the title of the painting was, “peace.” It doesn’t sound peaceful does it? If you look closer in the middle of the tree is a bird asleep in its nest. That’s peace. Peace the ability to stay calm when the storms of life are raging.

2. You have to keep your mind stayed on Jesus. When Peter walked on water to Jesus he stayed on top of the storm tossed waves but when he took his eyes off Jesus; he sank. We have train our minds to think about good things.

3.  It’s all about your mindset. Instead of thinking about what’s wrong today, think about what’s right. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Dear God,

Keep me in perfect peace today so that I can stay focused on you. Don’t allow me to get distracted by any kind of foolishness. Order my steps and control my thinking. Today I decree and declare that there will be nothing missing and nothing broken in my life. Thank you for peace, which suppresses all human understanding.
